About Bengal Tots in Florence
We are a Faith Based S.T.E.A.M.S. Academy using Creative Curriculum centered in Florence, Boone County, KY.
We care for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old, full-time, and provide a range of age-appropriate resources and activities to encourage their development right up until they are ready to join school. But the fun doesn’t stop there! We also offer before and after-school care, as well as a holiday club, for children aged 5 to 12 years old, where they can play, take part in sports, get homework support, and go on a range of field trips!
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is based on learning and creativity, as well as a focus on nurturing the whole child and developing empathy. By blending indoor and outdoor classrooms and environments in a home-away-from-home environment, we can create a space where children feel empowered and ready to learn and grow.
Who We Are
Bengal Tots got its start in Florence in 2013 by Sabree Brewer. We decided to do things a bit differently at Bengal Tots by creating a space which fosters early learning in a fun and safe environment where children from 6 weeks to 12 years old can explore the world around them.
We believe our innovative approach gives children a bright and positive start in life as we encourage both exploration and discovery as well as emotional intelligence and building friendships.
About Our Florence Location
When you visit us here at Bengal Tots, you’ll see firsthand what makes us different!
Our setting includes:
8 distinct classrooms, where children are surrounded by peers of a similar age and ability. This means that your little one will be surrounded by age-appropriate learning resources and toys, as well as progressing through the center with a group of similar, like-minded, children.
Indoor and outdoor play areas, both are fully equipped with everything your little one could need! Inside we have a climbing frame and slides, while outside we have large musical instruments, seesaws, and child-sized diggers and cars. Then on hot summer days, we bring out the splash pad, kiddy pool, and waterslide.
We are proud to be the most diverse center in the Tristate area! We work extremely hard to create the most supportive and inclusive environment for every single child in our care.
Facilities for your child to discover what they love! We have various sports teams, including soccer and basketball, to encourage physical activity and improve gross motor skills, as well as opportunities to make and create artistic projects, as a creative outlet and practice hand-eye coordination.

6 Weeks to 11 Months Room
This first room is a space where the youngest explorers embark on their very first adventures and has been designed to cater to the unique needs and developmental milestones of infants aged from six weeks to eleven months. In this nurturing space, we provide a secure foundation for the earliest stages of development, with love, creativity, and care at the forefront of each infant's journey. Here we take part in tummy time, puppet shows, and a morning sing-along.
1 to 1.5 Year Olds Room
In this next room, we are beginning to see the start of independent movement so there are plenty of safe spaces for exploratory crawls, and wobbly first steps. We also have age-appropriate toys and sensory play opportunities, providing endless opportunities for sensory exploration and fine motor skill development. Our dedicated caregivers guide these little learners through each new adventure, nurturing their emerging independence and celebrating every milestone.
1.5 to 2 Year Olds Room
Our 1.5 - to 2-year-old room is where we really begin to see your children growing into their personalities. This space is curated to embrace the boundless energy and burgeoning curiosity of our toddlers. Our experienced caregivers offer gentle guidance, fostering social interactions, independence, and a love for learning, ensuring that the 1.5 to 2 Year-Olds' Room is a place where each child's unique spirit shines and their exploration knows no bounds.
2 to 2.5 Year Olds Room
Here in the 2 to 2.5-year-old room, interactive learning materials are readily available, inviting eager hands to explore, fostering early literacy and cognitive development. Our dedicated educators facilitate a dynamic blend of structured and open-ended activities, encouraging social interactions, problem-solving, and imaginative play. In this nurturing environment, we lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning, ensuring that each child's unique spark is ignited.
Potty Training Children's Room
As the name suggests, for 2.5 year olds we have a classroom where the main focus of our curriculum emphasizes the steps for our little ones to get potty trained. Once they have successfully graduated from diapers they will move into our next classroom.
3 Year Olds Room
Once potty trained, children move to the 3-year-old room. It is a space where young minds are encouraged to explore, learn, and imagine to their hearts' content. A rich assortment of educational materials and hands-on resources invites exploration, experimentation, and problem-solving, enhancing cognitive development. In this vibrant space, our passionate educators guide these young learners through a carefully crafted curriculum that sparks their intellectual curiosity and nurtures their growing independence.
Older 3 to 4 Year Olds Room
In the penultimate room for our full-time students, we really aim to instill a lifelong confidence and love of learning. Our dedicated educators infuse each day with a carefully crafted curriculum that stimulates intellectual growth, social development, and emotional resilience, ensuring that this room is a place where every child's unique talents and interests are celebrated as they prepare for the adventures of pre-kindergarten and beyond.
Pre-K - 5’s Room
This final dedicated room is where young minds are on the brink of an exciting journey into academic readiness. This is an extremely exciting stage in our children's educational journey, as these eager learners engage in a carefully designed blend of structured learning and hands-on exploration, preparing them for a seamless transition to elementary school.
5 to 12-Year-Old Services
The fun doesn’t stop when you leave preschool! We also have before and after-school services for older children as well as full-time care during the holidays. With a range of activities, sports, games, and field trips to enjoy, as well as academic assistance, we can be that extra layer of support you and your family need outside of school.

Merging Teaching and Childcare
We offer a variety of programs, including full-time care for infants and toddlers, preschool, pre-kindergarten, and kindergarten.
We also offer before and after school, as well as holiday care for children 5 to 12 years old.
We believe that it’s never too early to start learning and that it’s vital to always present opportunities for children to learn and grow as soon as they start at our center.
By developing our programs with curriculum experts and childcare specialists, we’ve been able to hone in on what makes early education a success and created a learning program that allows our children to enter school seamlessly.
