Lead Teachers at our center provide essential care, guidance, and engaging experiences for children, fostering growth through play-centered learning rather than rigorous curricular standards. By promoting creativity, social skills, and curiosity, our teachers inspire children to explore, express, and connect with the world around them.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Interaction

- Supervise, guide, and inspire young children.

- Encourage curiosity, exploration, and expression

- Foster positive social interactions and collaboration

Learning and Development
- Teach basic skills (color, shape, numbers, and letter recognition)

- Develop engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans

- Encourage positive self-image and celebrate individual achievementsIntroduce concepts of sharing, fairness, and respectful communication

Routine and Structure

- Create and maintain daily routines that balance play, rest, and physical activity

- Model positive behavior and provide guidance as needed

Observation and Communication

- Document and assess each child’s growth and development

- Identify and address potential developmental concerns

- Conduct regular meetings with parents to share insights, discuss progress, and address concerns

Team Support and Leadership

- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment

- Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members

Qualifications:

Education: At least 18 years of age. High school diploma (required); Associates or CDA preferred or willing to work toward upon hire

Certifications: CPR/First Aid certified or willingness to obtain

Experience: Previous experience working in early education is preferred
